The electrifying new Mustang Mach-E shows that going green doesn’t have to be any sort of compromise. The latest AAA Car Guide backs that up, proclaiming the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium eAWD the No. 1 rated vehicle overall.
AAA gave the most luxury-focused Mustang Mach-E trim an impressive 89 out of 100 in its 2022 Car Guide. Among the points of praise are its impressive range, fun-to-drive performance, and sharp exterior styling.
“The Mustang Mach-E isn’t just a car,” AAA’s write-up of the vehicle begins, “it’s a phenomenon.”
This particular version of the Mustang Mach-E is especially phenomenal. The extended-range battery and electronic all-wheel drive allow the Mustang Mach-E Premium to put down 346 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. But it’s still incredibly reliable for an EV, returning up to 270 miles of range on a full charge.
The Mustang Mach-E Premium leans into luxury with features like heated front-row seats and steering wheel, a foot-activated liftgate, and a panoramic fixed-glass roof. It also ups the ante on the tech and safety front with standard Active Park Assist 2.0 and BlueCruise hands-free.
So popular is the Mustang Mach-E that it’s all sold out for the 2022 model year.
