There’s a new way to make your entry-level Ford Ranger pickup stand out. For 2021, Ford is offering a sharp STX Special Edition Package, and it’s designed especially for the Ranger’s base XL trim.
“Ranger customers are asking for new options to help make their trucks their own and we hear them,” said Chad Callander, Ranger marketing manager for Ford. “STX Special Edition hits a really compelling and affordable sweet spot for a lot of Ranger buyers looking for just the right combination of tech and style.”
The STX Special Edition builds on the already available STX Appearance Package with several new features. On the exterior, it adds special 18-inch black-painted wheels with machined-finished edges. The interior gains silver-painted accents, privacy glass with rear defrost, and dual-zone climate control.
STX Special Edition customers also receive the SYNC® infotainment system, which includes features like an 8-inch touch screen, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, and AppLink® voice command.
This package is available with SuperCab or SuperCrew XL models and can be added to both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. It can also be paired with Ford’s FX2 or FX4 off-road packages.
